In autumn, the small heart-shaped leaves are pale yellow or pink and are scented like burnt sugar on falling from the tree. Like a tree and a confection rolled into one.

Habit - Small to medium tree (up to 15m to 20m) with a branching habit. Not suitable for dry soils.
